Who we are
Ignite SEO (https://ignitemyseo.com) is a local-SEO and AI-visibility platform for salons and local businesses, operated by Ignite CFO Group LLC, 15818 N 35th St, Phoenix, AZ 85032, United States. You can reach us at alex@ignitemyseo.com or (480) 223-3864.
This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Ignite SEO application and to the free public scan on our website.
Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored as a hash), plus the business details you provide during onboarding: business name, website, address, phone, booking link, and service keywords.
Google data you authorize. With your explicit consent through Google sign-in, we access your Google Analytics data (site traffic and conversions), Google Search Console data (search impressions, clicks, and rankings), and Google Business Profile data (profile details, reviews, and performance metrics). We request read access to reporting data and, where you enable those features, permission to publish review replies and profile posts on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
Public marketing data. We collect publicly available information related to your business and its market: search rankings, map-pack positions, business-directory listings, competitor profiles, and public reviews.
Free scan submissions. If you use the free website scan, we collect the URL you submit, the email you optionally provide, and a salted hash of your IP address (used only for rate limiting — we do not store raw IP addresses for the scan).
Usage data. Standard technical logs (browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service. We use only essential cookies — those required to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
How we use information
We use the information above solely to provide the service: to build your dashboard,
- track your search rankings, reviews, and AI-search visibility over time,
- generate reports, alerts, and recommendations for your business,
- draft content (such as review replies) for your approval,
- send you the emails you have requested or that the service requires, and
- protect the service against abuse.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the service providers listed below.
Google user data — Limited Use disclosure
Ignite SEO's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: we use Google user data only to provide the features described above; we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to you; we do not use it for advertising; and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when aggregated and anonymized. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
AI processing
Some features summarize your marketing data using large-language-model providers (for example, generating your monthly report narrative or drafting a review reply). Only the minimum data needed for the feature is sent, requests are not used by our providers to train their models under the terms we contract for, and every AI-drafted item that would be published anywhere (such as a review reply) requires your explicit approval first.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers, each bound by their own terms:
- Supabase (database, authentication) and Vercel (hosting)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Google APIs (the data you authorize)
- DataForSEO (public search-ranking and listings data)
- OpenRouter (AI report synthesis)
- Stripe (payments, when billing is enabled)
- Twilio (SMS, only where you enable it and your customer has opted in)
SMS and review requests
If you use review-request features, messages are sent only to customers whose consent you have confirmed, and that consent is recorded. SMS sending complies with applicable telemarketing law (including the TCPA); recipients can opt out at any time.
Security and retention
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Google access tokens are additionally encrypted at the application layer (AES-256-GCM). Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. We retain your data while your account is active; when you close your account or ask us to, we delete your account data and revoke stored Google credentials within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting purposes.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or export your data — email us.
- Delete your account and data — email us.
- Revoke Google access — from your Google account permissions page or by disconnecting in the app.
- Unsubscribe from non-essential email — every message includes an opt-out.
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their information.
